Blooms for Africa, a Grandmothers to Grandmothers Group of the Stephen Lewis Foundation, is having a Garden Tour of Native Gardens the evenings of July 10th and 11th in Dundas and West Hamilton. Blooms for Africa is celebrating our 20th Anniversary; this will be our 10th Garden Tour. Our goal is to raise enough to push us over $500,000 in our 20-year history.
All funds go to the Stephen Lewis Foundation whose grandmothers’ movement amplifies the voices and expertise of grandmothers in Africa. It shows the world that leadership by older women is critical in reclaiming hope and rebuilding resilience across communities. We will not rest until they can rest.
This is the only Garden Tour to offer evening tours AND the gardeners will be home to share their stories. For tickets: call 905-527-0470 ($20 e-transfer available) or visit the Keeping Room or Ellenoire Hair, Body Bath in Dundas or Wildflower Spa on Locke St.
