Hamilton Civic Museums and HPL Explore Dundurn Castle, Whitehern Historic House and Garden and other Hamilton Civic Museums FREE with your Hamilton Public Library card. Noon Hour Concerts at Central Library Spend your lunchbreak listening to local musicians each Friday from noon to 1pm at Central Library. Pull up a seat and listen to local musicians perform different genres of music on the Hamilton Room stage or up close and personal in the 1st Floor Living Room.
Discovery Centre: Project Update HPL is exploring the redevelopment of the former Canadian Marine Discovery Centre through the creation of a new library branch, Indigenous gathering space, cultural heritage exhibition space, café, and visitor amenities.
HPL offers a bid opportunity for a Discovery Centre Program Design and Development Study. The Study will inform the repurposing of the building as part of the West Harbour and waterfront redevelopment.
