The Breezes volunteers and Board of Directors have been very busy planning over the summer months. But, we’ve been having fun too! You may have noticed us out and about joining in community events. We attended the annual Park N Party in July and experienced a mini Open Streets Pop-Ups at Pier 8 in August.
Our teams were also preparing for some major fun events.

We hope that if you are or have been part on the volunteer teams who make everything happen, that you will join us on September 14th to be recognized and allow us to show our appreciation.
And the BIG NEWS! We are hosting our first North End Reunion on September 14th at Macassa Bay Yacht Club. Please come out to meet old friends, make new friends and thank our teams of volunteers. Fun, food, and entertainment plus a cash bar.
We are excited about some “behind the scenes” activities too. Our Board of Directors is welcoming more members to grow and to replace those who have served their terms and are moving on. Our newest publication team member, Cat McKay is bringing us into the world of technology and her marketing work is broadening our reach across the city. We want everyone to know how great the North End is!
As the Editor, I am particularly excited to introduce a true story of loyalty, love and commitment as we help to celebrate two long time North Enders, Bill and Wendy Oblender. All I can say is…more like this please. Send your stories our way.
