HOPA Ports & CityKidz, HOPA Ports
Camp CityKidz 2025 delivered a “Summer to Remember” for more than 110 Hamilton youth, blending adventure, learning, and new friendships thanks to strong community partnerships and dedicated volunteers.
This year’s camp, powered by the combined efforts of HOPA Ports, QSL, Parrish & Heimbecker, and Paling Transporter, received $15,000 in support. These funds ensured campers had access to safe transportation, healthy meals, and supplies for activities.
“Investing in our communities is at the core of what we do,” said Kelly Noseworthy, Communications Advisor at HOPA Ports. “It’s inspiring to see our valued partners come together in support of Hamilton’s youth. We’re incredibly proud of the work happening at CityKidz; it empowers young people to thrive and reminds us of the strength and kindness within our city.”
This summer, 26 volunteers worked tirelessly to create a safe and encouraging environment. Alongside them, 9 Jr. Leaders, youth only a few years older than the campers, stepped up to guide activities and mentor younger children, developing their own leadership skills in the process.
Camp CityKidz builds confidence, resilience, and a sense of belonging for local children. HOPA Ports is proud to support this program and play a part in making lasting memories.
