Good afternoon. I am contacting you today to advise that increased service at West Harbour GO will come into effect beginning May 17, 2025. All existing Niagara Falls train trips on the Lakeshore West line will stop at West Harbour GO station, giving customers in Hamilton and St. Catharines-Niagara regions more travel options including weekend service. - West Harbour customers will have four more train trips to choose from on weekdays and six new trips on weekends.
- This expanded service is possible thanks to the newly completed connecting track at West Harbour GO station. West Harbour GO was not connected to the main track west of the station previously, which meant Niagara trains had to reverse into and out of the station. Now, trains can travel without having to reverse, resulting in smoother operations and a more efficient journey.
