It’s hard to believe, but 2024 is now half way complete! The team at Crime stoppers of Hamilton has been hard at work the entire time processing your crime tips and offering cash rewards.
If Crime Stoppers is new to you, we’re the not-for-profit organization that offers cash for your tips on crime! It’s that simple.
For example: if you happen to be out walking your dog and you observe a crime, you can call Crime Stoppers and give us that information. We then take it on your behalf and offer it to the appropriate Hamilton Police Service section. Once we learn that an arrest was made based off of that information, you get cash.
The best part… Crime Stoppers will never ask for your personal information. We don’t need your name or even a phone number. You may ask, “Well how do I get paid if Crime Stoppers doesn’t know who I am?”…. It’s actually very simple. When you give us your tip, we give you a unique code that no one will be able to decipher or know what it is. When you check in to see if your tip was successful, you relay the code back to us and we give you the outcome. You then take your code to a specific bank and collect your reward! No questions asked.
This year alone we’ve approved over $6000 in rewards to our anonymous tipsters!
