Birge Park Community Garden needs your help! A number of community partners have been working together over the past year to revitalize Birge Park Community Garden so that programming can occur in the space again. This is where you come in: we are looking for donations of lumber, paving stones, mulch, or Canadian Tire gift cards to help build new beds and make the garden more accessible for our volunteers. We also value donations of your time and energy, if you would like to contribute as a volunteer! To get involved, please contact Mariko at mbown-kai@compassch.org!

Registration for Grub Club 2022 is now open! Compass Community Health’s long-standing annual summer program will begin Wednesday, May 25, and run weekly until Wednesday, August 31, from 5:30 to 7:00 pm. Kids aged 6 to 13 will learn about planting and growing their own food, try new recipes, and spend time outdoors being physically active. Contact Mariko at mbown-kai@compassch.org or call (905) 523-6611 x 2084 to register. We hope to see you there!
